About Charles W.
In May 2017, I graduated from the College of Business Administration at the University of Pittsburgh. I majored in finance and I am from a town northwest of Pittsburgh called Sewickley. I have a twin sister who works for PWC out of Dallas and an older brother who graduated from Bucknell University and works for PNC in institutional Wealth Management. I am a proud brother of the Delta Upsilon chapter of Pi Kappa Phi fraternity at the University of Pittsburgh. I attended Quaker Valley High School and received eight varsity letters playing lacrosse and tennis in the same spring season. I was also captain of both teams when I was a senior. I\'ve always loved sports and I also love teaching tennis. I\'ve coached middle school lacrosse for Quaker Valley, served as an associate tennis professional for three summers at my local country club, and been on mission trips to both Jamaica and New Orleans. At the beginning of the summer in 2014, I embarked on a two week trip to the Maine wilderness through a program called Outward Bound and had the trip of a lifetime canoeing and backpacking. I interned at a company in downtown Pittsburgh called Henderson Brothers Inc. I worked in their Retirement Services Division monitoring funds that employees for different companies could invest in as part of their 401k growth and retirement planning. I learned many things from the corporate experience and developed lifelong relationships over the duration of my internship. I have also completed an International Internship in Sydney, Australia and another internship in Pittsburgh during the summer of 2016 with Schneider Downs Inc. in wealth management. Upon graduation from the College of Business Administration from the University of Pittsburgh I began studying for my Series 7 & 63 licenses which I obtained in October of 2017 scoring an 83% on my first attempt of the Series 7. I have also since obtained my Series 66. I have learned a ton and enjoyed Vanguard. I love to network and meet new people please do not hesitate to reach out!
