An engineering graduate of Washington University in St. Louis, MO, and a law graduate of George Washington University, Mr. Segerman was formerly the CEO of Clean Currents, Inc, a retail electricity supplier ranked #196 on INC Magazine’s list of the 500 fastest growing privately held companies in 2011. Before Clean Currents, was Director of Green Development for the Tower Companies, an award-winning, real estate company committed to developing socially and environmentally responsible commercial, residential, retail and industrial developments within the DC Area. Was Project Executive in charge of designing and constructing the first LEED certified apartments in the United States. Was Director of Development for one of the most ambitious town center projects in Prince George’s County, Maryland. A career of evaluating existing physical community and business elements, determining needed infrastructure, and adding value by creating and articulating strategic opportunities especially with complex subject matter such as sustainable design, energy efficiency, renewable energy and power procurement. Mr. Segerman was COO at Utility Systems Construction & Engineering LLC where he managed both the construction and engineering operations of the firm.
