I founded Anderson Materials Evaluation, Inc. as a materials characterization laboratory in 1995 and own and manage it still as President & Principal Scientist. Dr. Vaidheeshwar Ramasubramanian serves as Materials Scientist and Project Manager. We offer materials characterization, failure analysis, quality assurance, materials and process development, consulting, and expert witness services.We provide surface analysis (small-spot monochromatic XPS or ESCA), thermal analysis (TGA, DSC, TMA), XRF, SEM/EDS, GC-MS, LIBS, 3D optical microscopy, FTIR spectroscopy, UV-Vis photospectometry, mechanical testing, adhesive bonding failure analysis, and corrosion analysis services to industry, university, and government customers. We specialize in surface chemistry, contamination detection and measurement, thin film and coating characterizations, interface analysis, elemental & chemical analysis, corrosion and adhesive bonding failure analysis, thermal properties, density and porosity measurements, contact angle measurements, and composite material characterizations.We analyze metal, semiconductor, polymer, inorganic and organic chemicals, minerals, glass, ceramic, and composite materials. Our customers are in the aerospace, electronics, medical device, construction materials, communications, optics, pharmaceuticals, marine, power, office equipment, metals, machinery, ceramics, glass, composite materials, import, sports equipment, paper, laboratory equipment, power, chemical, and all other industries using materials.We moved into our third laboratory facility with many improvements in early 2011 with 5,439 sq. ft. of space.We have provided many graduate student, college undergraduates, and high school students with interest in a number of scientific fields with summer internships, co-op programs, and other mentoring opportunities over the last 20 years.
