My new position as Maintenance Specialist at Chevron Phillips Chemical Company is going great! I have started my new position on the megaproject for USGC II - OSBL at Headquarters in The Woodlands, effective August 15, 2022 for. My initial assignment is at the EPC Home Office (Kansas City) and later to the job site in Orange, TX. Some of my responsibilities will include ensuring the plant design incorporates safe and cost-effective reliability, operability and maintainability features with positive impact on the overall asset life cycle. Participation in P & ID, 3D Model and PHA/LOPA reviews. Ensure maintenance group has the requisite training and specific knowledge on process safety, environmental for safe, reliable and efficient operation. Provide input into the overall project schedule including commissioning and startup. Assist in development of owners cost for Phase 4 including development of a manpower plan that supports project goals. Ensure that appropriate 2-year and capital spares have been procured. Ensure that a transition plan for the Business Unit to manage the new asset with clear roles and responsibilities has been implemented
