About Charles P. Morgan

Dr. Morgan, served as Vice President of Chemical & Mental at Avivo as of March 2023. Avivo, is embedded in communities across MN, serving those experiencing homelessness, poverty, addiction, and mental health challenges (substance use & co-occurring disorders). Avivo provides intensive outpatient programming, support programs, targeted case management, community outreach and advocacy, and mental health services through its Mental Health Clinic. Dr. Morgan is a licensed Marriage and Family Therapist, MFT, LPCC, LPC State Approved Supervisor, AAMFT Approved Supervisor candidate, licensed in California and Minnesota. He is a Clinical Fellow in the American Association of Marriage and Family Therapy and Presidential Member the Association of Christian Counselors. Led Union Gospel Mission Twin Cities as it\'s CEO from 12/2014 to 6/2020. His duties as CEO; strengthen existing programs, expand collaborative relationships, enhance collateral resources, ensure best practices, and promote high levels of service. At UGMTC, Dr. Morgan worked with an Executive Leadership team that oversaw Men\'s Discipleship, Naomi Family Center for Women and Children, Christ Recovery Center, Ober Community Center for Youth, 17 acre Gospel Hill Camp for children, Adult Educ, Life Net, Ona Orth Ministry Center, Bethel Hotel, Donor Engagement, Youth and Family Services, and Child Development Center. Served as Vice President of Program at the Los Angeles Mission and Anne Douglas Center for Women before being selected to UGMTC. He served as Secretary to Board of Directors of Citygate (formerly The Association of Gospel Rescue Missions), is Vice Chair of the Board of Directors the Wilder Foundation, served on the United Hospital Foundation Board. Served on the RUSH Committee, housing those experiencing chronic homelessness. He has a Th.D. Antioch Christian Univ. is a theologian and international conference speaker. Dr. Morgan served as Founder/Senior Pastor of Resurrection Life Fellowship in Westchester CA for 33 years. Founded RLF Church in Malawi, East Central Africa in 1984 and presently serves as its International Overseer. A graduate of Fuller Theological Seminary with a Master of Science in Marriage and Family Therapy, Dr. Morgan trained at Friends of the Family in Van Nuys CA where he worked with families, couples, individual therapy, and facilitated sexual offender groups. He worked as a psychiatric social worker for Kedren Community Mental Health in their Full Service Partnership Program providing wraparound services for the most treatment resistant clients in LA County).
