ABOUT CHARLES MASTERMAN

I work for a great organisation, The Water Management Consortium, which consists of four Land Drainage Boards protecting, land, property, people, livestock and livelihoods from flooding events and helping keep water available for use on farmland as well as wildlife. We are a small team but achieve so much and we have some great partner companies that back us up on a daily basis. I look after all aspects of the Mechanical and Electrical assets within the group, we have 92 pumping stations that are constantly on standby to pump water out from the areas as the rain comes down. We have programmes of maintenance, refurbishments and whole pumping station replacements planned over the next 20 years, the first 5 to 7 years now have increased spending planned so it is a very exciting time for the whole team. Previous Experience. Site Management. M, E and Civil. HS & E. Client, designer and subcontractor coordination. Electrical, Mechanical and Process Commissioning. Senior Authorised Person, HV and LV Substation Switching, commissioning and protection setup. Vast experience of Potable Water and Sewage Treatment commissioning from start to finish. All Electrical, Mechanical and Process elements professionally setup and commissioned as per design. M&E installation supervision with a keen eye on commissioning further down the construction programme. Senior Authorised Person both for Black & Veatch and Wright Engneering/Dalkia. HV and LV Switching/Isolations/Commissioning, issue of Permits and Sanction to Test documentation. Large Site Permit Controller, General Work Permits, Hotwork/Lifting/Confined Space/Pressure Test/Radiography/Commissioning. Specialties: Electrical, Mechanical and Process commissioning, fault finding and trouble shooting. Senior Authorised Person, HV switching and safety documentation.
