Charles is an economics student at The Ohio State University with experience conducting legal research and investigative analysis in a federal prosecutorial environment. At the U.S. Attorney’s Office for the District of Columbia, he supported financial crime and national security-related investigations. His work included analyzing cross-border illicit finance and sanctions-adjacent activity, drafting affidavits and memoranda used in active case development, and contributing to a $225 million international fraud investigation. He also supported investigations involving state-linked financial crime networks and worked alongside federal law enforcement partners including the FBI and Secret Service.
