Overseeing the scalability and optimization of the revenue cycle for more than 120 facilities is part of my job. I also ensure the implementation of important revenue optimization mechanisms, departmental structure, operational systems and controls, and reporting processes. I am in charge of achieving RCM performance by improving key processes and making sure the revenue cycle operations success for more than 50 programs. Assist the senior and program leadership teams in achieving our financial and strategic goals, expanding the RCM functions, and providing insightful analysis. Oversee all activities and tasks related to the revenue cycle and coaches billing department leadership and staff on how to strategically deal with commercial health plans, state Medicaid and managed-care organizations, and Medicare for mental health and substance use disorder treatments. Besides that, I regularly look at, analyze, and quantify reimbursement and revenue cycle data to find recurring patterns and extract key reimbursement components, such as payer-specific revenue and reimbursement processes, to make operations more efficient and effective. I also have to make, use, and review policies and procedures, process improvements, tools, and other useful resources on a regular basis.
