User Workspace Redesign project- This looks like it will consist of a Xendesktop deployment using Vmware ESX on Nutanix hardware as the hypervisor and integrating Unidesk layering technology and Citrix PVS to generate and manage images. Xendesktop will be used as the session broker. Started setting up and testing Netscaler Gateway deployment and incorporating an Insight Center Appliance to report back to Citrix Director to see the kind of performance monitoring and other statistics we can gather from these tools. We are also using Systrack to fill in the data gaps with Insight center. Evaluating Citrix SCOM management packs as well. User Workspace Redesign project(cont\'d)- Configured Netscaler Gateway and Insight Center appliance for our VDI POC environment, set it up so that all connections are treated as external, this way we can gather metrics on the users coming into the POC environment to help us size our final PROD design correctly. Also merged the Insight Center data into the POC site\'s Director for consumption by other engineers. Android Tabs and Apple Ipads are working through the Gateway as well. Going production with this platform in a month and a half. Getting down to crunch-time has everyone moving at a frenetic pace with last minute configurations and documentation
