About Charles Jacobson
As a fourth-year Honors College student at The Ohio State University, I am pursuing a Bachelor of Science in Chemistry. My hands-on experiences with unhoused populations and victims of the opioid epidemic in Columbus, Ohio, have inspired me to pursue a career in medicine, with the goal of continuing to serve on the front lines of healthcare as an emergency room physician.Currently, I am completing an Honors Undergraduate Thesis as a member of the Kyriazis Laboratory at Ohio State’s Wexner Medical Center. Alongside my research, I have discovered a passion for education, working as an Organic Chemistry Teaching Assistant. This role has fueled my commitment to integrating teaching and mentorship into my future career, allowing me to make an impact both in the emergency room and beyond.
