ABOUT CHARLES DECHANT
Leaving my home state of Arizona to attend Michigan State University was an exciting step toward new challenges and opportunities for growth. I’m now a student in the Broad College of Business, part of the Honors College, and a member of the Honors College First Year Council.I’m passionate about leadership, collaboration, and continuous improvement, and I enjoy taking on roles that allow me to learn from others while contributing to a larger purpose. Through the First Year Council, I work with peers and college leadership to strengthen the first-year experience and help students feel connected and empowered within the Honors community.Driven by curiosity and initiative, I aim to combine academic excellence with real-world leadership experiences building the skills needed to create meaningful impact in both business and community settings. I’m eager to continue developing as a leader and student over the next four years, making the most of my time at Michigan State University and the opportunities the Broad College of Business and Honors College provide.
