About Charles Dawson
I founded GeoSurfaces in 2001 and GeoSport Lighting Systems in 2015. GeoSurfaces joined the Tencate Grass family in 2017 and GeoSport Lighting Systems joined the Tencate Grass family in 2021. Today, the Geo Companies remain one of the few groups in the USA that fully constructs sport surfaces while offering full design and installation of sports lighting systems \'in-house\'.I was appointed the President of the Sports Division of Tencate Grass in 2022 and CEO of the Sports Division of Tencate Grass in 2023 and have the great honor of leading and supporting the best team of sports constructors and manufacturers in the world.

I have designed, installed and managed more shock pad installations than anyone in the industry. I own patents for advances in shock pad and structural base technology for artificial turf systems. Our incredible NCAA client list includes: Arkansas, Texas A&M, Clemson, Georgia, South Carolina, Florida, LSU, Baylor, Vanderbilt, Central Florida, Arkansas State, Louisiana and Central Arkansas.
