Lead strategic outreach initiatives to attract and engage small, local business enterprises (SLBEs) for participation in Richland County projects.• Build and maintain strong partnerships with internal departments, external agencies, prime contractors, and community stakeholders.• Actively recruit and support business owners by promoting the SLBE certification program and providing tailored resources and guidance.• Qualify prospective SLBEs, coordinate certification appointments, and guide new and renewing businesses through the onboarding process.• Design and facilitate professional development workshops, public meetings, and capacity-building sessions to strengthen SLBE participation.• Manage and distribute marketing collateral, newsletters, and event notifications to promote business development opportunities.• Oversee the OSBO website and social media platforms to expand digital outreach and increase community engagement.• Monitor and share upcoming County solicitations while identifying new avenues for vendor participation and capacity growth.• Serve as a liaison and public speaker, representing OSBO at events, community forums, and cross-agency collaborations.• Conduct needs assessments, analyze program trends, and deliver reports to inform leadership decisions and improve service delivery.• Develop and deliver training content as an in-house instructor, supporting ongoing education and growth for certified vendors.
