ABOUT CHARLES CHAKWANDA

I have over 28 years of quantity surveying experience working for major civil engineering and building construction companies in the United Kingdom, Zimbabwe, and Botswana. I have proven experience in preparation and delivery of cost and commercial advice across all market sectors having developed an understanding of risk-based cost estimating techniques with technical understanding of project procurement and delivery strategies. I have blended contractor and consultancy experience having worked for Government of Botswana within a project management consultant environment monitoring projects from inception right through to final account. I have excellent written and verbal communication skills with strong understanding of contract and commercial management techniques with added ability to work in an advisory capacity and willingness to be involved in assignments outside of core skill set. I am willing to impart my experience and knowledge to any organisation that I will be joining to improve their performance in delivering projects on time, within cost and to the right quality requirements.
