Here\'s what I do now: Co-Owner of Perigee Direct, an innovative distributor of adhesives and bonding solutions for science, industry as well as individual DIY enthusiasts. We pride ourselves with the ability to kit a large variety of products to meet customer needs and ship rapidly. I field inbound sales calls, manage and run the warehouse operation including filling orders, maintaining inventory, creating purchase orders, receiving and binning inventory, maintaining shipping supplies, coordinating with FedEx, UPS and USPS Reps to ensure we are getting the best rates and service and all other aspects of running a warehouse. Additionally I work on product listings on Amazon and on our own website. I also own SL2 Salon Suites LLC, a 24 Suite Salon where artists make dreams come true on a daily basis by bringing out the beauty in all of their clients. I do pretty much anything related to keeping the salon operational from plumbing, electrical, painting, decorating, cleaning, maintenance, repairs, leasing, and pretty much anything else that needs to be done. My history-Started young, 11 years old with newspaper delivery routes-Worked part-time for Panama Canal Company as an engraver and carpenter\'s helper-Worked at a moving company in the Panama Canal Zone moving military families to and from several bases located there-After moving to USA, worked in construction as an electricians helper-Attended and graduated with honors from Hallmark Aero Tech and earned my Airframe and Powerplant license-Spent 8 years working on helicopters, performing maintenance and repairs-Developed specialized skills as sheetmetal repair and modification technician-Went to work for American Airlines as a structural repair technician -Spent several years working as avionics tech -Promoted to Supervisor at AA maintenance and engineering base -Promoted to Safety Manager -Moved to Production Manager -Founded AmLee Innovations -Co-awarded US Patent for water line safety valve -Became maintenance man for Sean Lauren 1 and 2. Painted, repaired. installed flooring, installed LED lighting, installed decorative finishes, changed and repaired plumbing fixtures-Purchased SL2 Salon Suites-Formed LLC ‐Worked at AmLee Innovations LLC and SL2 Salon Suites while working full-time at American Airlines until my retirement in 6/2019 ‐Still going 110%-Open to new and interesting opportunities so if you have one, that pays very well, and it looks to you like I might have something you find interesting, reach out to me and we\'ll see what happens.

   AmLee is a company that was developed based on an idea that existing problems could easily be solved with innovative ideas and persistence. The first product from AmLee is a patented hydraulic fuse developed to solve the long standing problem of broken sprinkler heads wasting water, flooding streets and causing damage to personal property. This product was patented in early 2008 and has since been licensed to a firm in California who rebranded it the Hydro Knot, The second product, currently in Patent Pending status, is called the Atlas Mount No-Drill mounting system. Partner Fred Amato believed that there needed to be an alternative to using drilled anchors to mount equipment to a garage/shop floor since doing so causes damage to the concrete and if equipment needs to be moved, leaves a stud sticking out of the floor that has to be cut of. The Atlas Mount kit allows the mounting of such equipment using a steel puck with a threaded stud and a variety of washers and nuts to mount the equipment to the stud. the ingenious thing is that the steel puck is held to the concrete using epoxy and while this mounting system creates a robust, extremely strong mount with over 2500 psi shear strength per mount, it can be removed using extreme heat or cold and relocated.Matt Jackson joined the business with a degree in Marketing and Sales and AmLee has launched an epoxy supply business, This business has grown rapidly and we continue to expand our line of products weekly.
