   Due to the impact of a back to back natural disasters in Puerto Rico caused by hurricane Irma and Maria, FEMA operates in partnership with the Commonwealth of Puerto Rico’s Governor to effectively implement the Commonwealth’s recovery plan, which conveys the Governor’s vision for post-disaster recovery. Among the twelve sectors identified, I provide direct support to the Transportation Sector Solutions Team to build and promote an integrated transportation system for Puerto Rico. Developing and supporting a resilient, permanent infrastructure system with the collaborative group of federal, commonwealth agencies, municipalities and others (i.e, the private sector, NGO’s, etc.).Sector summary of responsibilities, not limited to:•Utilizing and applying planning processes in addition to management and organizational practices to prepare guidance in accordance with program policies and objectives-Develop the Sector’s strategic timeline that identifies milestones and goals -Develop and manage overarching actions to be achieved, such as Objective and Key Results, to ensure personnel involved in post-disaster recovery for Puerto Rico are aligned, effective and enabled to implement the Sector-Bases/Solutions-Focused Approach•Managing and coordinating information processing to ensure geographically dispersed work units achieves consistency in program delivery•Applying analytical and evaluative techniques to determine the extent of compliance with rules and regulations issued by the organization, or in measuring and evaluating program accomplishments•Collecting, compiling, and analyzing data in order of significance for sector leadership, Infrastructure Directorate and Command and General Staff meetings•Support assigned Unit Leaders with appropriate products, presentations, projects and tasks as appropriate•Continuity of Operations Plan (COOP)•Prepare forms for-Meeting schedule (ICS 230)-Unit log (ICS 214)-Personnel contact list (ICS 205A)
