I’m a well-experienced education professional and community development leader, and I enjoy directing all of my energy and passion toward opening doors to improve educational opportunities for at-risk children, and for college-age young adults who are struggling in their quest to find their way to a better life. I’m committed to doing all I can to bring out the best in people and organizations. That’s why I work hard to implement best practices in my work as a university professor. That’s why I work hard to engage and involve community residents and corporate citizens in helping to fund and develop community organizations. And that’s why I work in a tireless and uncompromising way, always, to bring together human and financial resources to help solve problems. To educate people. To help make things better—for at-risk children, for families, and for communities.
