ABOUT CHARITY SWALES
Nice to meet you! My name is Charity As someone with a passion for all things digital, I work as a Digital PR strategist for digital agency connective3.I graduated from the University of Liverpool in 2020 with a distinction class masters degree in Marketing. Within my degree, I developed a passion for all things digital marketing! Copywriting, creative work and PR are my best assets Fancy learning more about my experience? Keep reading I\'ve always been passionate about writing since I learned how to pick up a pen. Over the years I have written articles for various digital publications such as The National Student and The Indiependent which have honed my maturity and attention to detail as a content writer. Social Media has been a key tool to promote my articles through my personal brand. Throughout my English undergraduate degree, I had written for the University paper. It wasn\'t until I was awarded the social media executive role that I really became passionate about Social Media and Marketing in general. The ability to reach and build a whole community of people through these networks is what I really love about the Web 2.0 era. After completing my masters during the height of the pandemic, I came across an opportunity with a Liverpool software start-up company as a Digital Marketing Intern. As this was my first professional social media role it has been innumerable for developing my skills, and as the sole member of the Marketing team, it has driven me with self-motivation to self-teach practical skills. The opportunity has been innumerable for developing my SEO, copywriting, sales, customer-facing, social media and PR skill. An opportunity came up at The Indiependent, a digital publication giving a platform for new journalists. After being awarded the Social Media Editor role it has allowed me to tap further into my creativity, devising campaigns and creating social media content that will gain more reach and engagement for the publication. Although this was a hobby, it helped me gain content planning and social media skills. It also helped me realise that I would love to go into the B2C Marketing domain. As well as my professional career I have worked part-time in hospitality since the age of 14. Although often disregarded, I believe my experience has been instrumental for developing personable and transferable skills. Nothing helps you develop your client-facing communication quite like being a front-line employee. Want to get in touch? My email is c••••••••@connective3.com
