With 25 years of combined experience in public accounting and industry, Charity serves some of the largest US multinational companies in the North Texas market. As a PwC Partner, she focuses on process enhancements, tax technology and strategically improving the functions of her client’s tax departments. Having led the tax department of a Fortune 500 Retailer, Charity is uniquely qualified to advise her clients on strategically improving the functions and efficiencies of their in-house tax operations. Charity knows that technology is not a means to an end, but is a tool that ensures her clients will achieve their desired goals, moving from doing tactical work to making more informed strategic decisions. Being credentialed as a Six Sigma Green Belt, Charity works with clients to create unique solutions for their tax process and compliance needs, whether customized department enhancements, tax technology implementations or co-sourcing arrangements.In this digital world, Charity never forgets the human side of business that starts with getting to know her clients and what disorder looks like to them. Charity believes that the more you get to know a client—the more you get to know the client. This has led to facilitating brainstorming and visioning workshops, helping them elicit the issues, gaps and direction that will blaze new trails for themselves and their organizations. With her skills and experience, she can quickly size up what is needed to streamline the most difficult organizational challenges. Charity is a graduate of the University of North Texas where she received a Bachelor of Science in Accounting and a Master of Science, with a major in Accounting. She is a Texas CPA and a member of the AICPA. Blazing trails is a natural for Charity, given her love of horses and nature. Charity keeps two horses on her acreage, along with two dogs, two cats, and one husband.
