I’m a DevOps Engineer who cares about doing things the right way. Clean systems. Reliable pipelines. Simple processes that make sense and don’t slow people down. That’s what I’m into. I’ve worked in tech long enough to know that tools are important, but they’re not everything. What really matters is making life easier for the people who use them. Whether it’s a developer trying to push code or a customer relying on an app that needs to stay up, I build with those people in mind. In my most recent role, I’ve been trusted to lead some big efforts. Built a full CI/CD pipeline from scratch. Automated it all. Releases got faster. Teams got happier. I also helped shape our infrastructure using Terraform and CloudFormation, spinning up EKS clusters, fine-tuning environments, and making sure things didn’t just work, but worked consistently. I don’t believe in band-aid fixes. I’d rather dig into the root cause and build something solid that lasts. Before that, I was at SmarTek Partners. We worked with clients who needed their cloud to be faster, safer, and more cost-effective. That’s where I learned to ask better questions. What’s really going on here? What’s running that doesn’t need to be? What can we tweak to get more out of what we already have? That mindset stuck with me. I’ve worked with teams across dev, ops, and security. I’ve containerized old systems to give them a new life. I’ve put monitoring and alerting in place that actually helps, not just noise. I’ve helped others understand what’s happening behind the curtain, because when people understand, they work better together.    In my contract role at One World Technologies, a managed service provider that serves financial and health sector clients, I was trusted to lead infrastructure, automation, and cloud optimization efforts that kept the engineering team moving fast and safe. I built a fully automated CI/CD pipeline, provisioned repeatable environments with Terraform, and set up EKS clusters that scaled reliably. I introduced monitoring with Prometheus and Grafana, helped secure cloud access through IAM and MFA, and brought down deployment time while improving system stability. The team relied on me to build what worked, and fix what didn’t, without overcomplicating things.
