Directly manages a team of over twenty-five environmental and safety professionals for the largest natural gas producer in the U.S, headquartered in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. Reports to the Vice President of Environmental, Health & Safety. Primary duties include leading ESG initiatives such as methane reduction and carbon reduction strategies, developing regulatory compliance strategies, liaison between regulatory agencies and the corporation, overseeing compliance reporting and training activities, managing environmental and safety performance and data collection for process improvement, preparing and managing departmental annual budgets, provide compliance updates to Vice President, EHS to deliver to the Board of Directors and working directly with senior operational staff to coordinate compliance efforts and implement ESG strategies. An additional key duty includes building relationships between various operational departments within the organization to enhance environmental and safety performance of the organization, contributing to the annual ESG report as a subject matter expert and contributing to the development of the corporate climate change strategy. Key Accomplishments Include- Reorganize team to improve effectiveness of support to operations - Foundational member of ESG Committee and Carbon Strategy Team - Development of Crisis Communications Plan and associated training modules - Developed and implemented a departmental budget with a 20% reduction in costs - Corporate representative for the United Nations’ Oil & Gas Methane Partnership (OGMP) 2.0, achieving Gold status during the inaugural reporting year - Obtained dual certification for over 4 BCF of natural gas through the Equitable Origin 100 (EO100) and MiQ certification programs, resulting in EQT becoming the largest producer of responsibly sourced gas - Successfully negotiated a 40% savings on penalty assessments
