WORK HISTORY
Senior Specialist, Ecommerce Content @Liverpool Football Club
Liverpool, GB
In my role I am responsible for all ecommerce content being uploaded and updated to the online store, this includes imagery and copy. My own day to day tasks include sample management, styling, photography, editing and retouching. The majority of content is produced in house but I also organise photoshoots with external agencies which involves getting quotes, creating shot lists and choosingmodels. I work closely with international brands including Nike and New Balance to secure samples, technical garment information and copy. As LFC also has a large own brand department I work with the buying and QC teams to make sure we not only show the product in the best light but also showcase the design direction of the collections. I work with the merchandising and marketing teams to ensure all lines are ready to go on sale when stock lands or launch dates. I manage a series of spreadsheets and filing systems for my own team and so members of the wider team can see at what stage a product is up to. Managing workload effectively between myself and the other team members is a key part of the role. I attend weekly meetings where I present updates and participate in department strategy developments. As my role sits within the UX team I am constantly looking for ways to improve the site through the content I provide. I work closely with our web developer on A/B testing to ensure any work done provides value and improves revenue.
