Hi, I’m Charis!I’m a junior at Urbana High School who loves leadership, community, and trying new things. I’ve been involved in FBLA for the past three years and have had the chance to serve in regional, state, and national level leadership roles, which taught me a lot about collaboration, communication, and showing up for others. I’ve competed in public speaking for the past 3 years across my state, and have had the opportunity to advocate on Capitol Hill to our legislators on the importance of education funding. Whether it\'s organizing business conferences for hundreds of people, or making resources for students, you\'ll always catch me doing something!Outside of FBLA, I’m a 2x class officer (President & Secretary), club connoisseur, volleyball player, expert baker, and 3 year peer tutor. I enjoy working on projects that make a real impact and learning from people who challenge me to grow, as I’ve had the opportunity to conduct research on financial literacy and participate in making a real impact in my community.I’m always happy to connect and learn from others, so reach out:)
