Most jobs talk about \"fast-paced environments\"—but few mean it like this. “Must close with and destroy the enemy. Direct contact and hand-to-hand combat are likely. Duties are performed wearing 15 kg of Battle Order or up to 44 kg of Marching Order, outdoors in all weather conditions, without rest or shelter, while exposed to extremes of heat, cold, nauseating odors, noise, damp, dust, and mud—as well as fear, stress, and deprivation inherent in combat.
