About Chantell J. Cornett

As an Engineer | General Contractor | Principal with Ward Cornett & Associates, I provide forensic engineering and construction consulting services to clients facing complex construction-related claims or actions. I completed a dual BSE/MSE in Engineering from Arizona State University and am currently a PhD Candidate in the school of engineering emphasizing research on concrete and strength of materials. I bring more than 20 years of experience in the field, including leading and managing The Ward Group, a forensic construction corporation that I co-founded in 2012.My core competencies include root cause analysis, standard of care assessment, building/governing code compliance, OSHA/ADA analysis, job site injury, change order dispute, delay claims, contract dispute, and forensic job cost accounting. I also have expertise in roofing, building envelope, safety, and general contracting, as evidenced by my multiple certifications and honors. I am honored to regularly present on Ethics in Engineering with a focus on Ethics in Engineering and AI. I am fluent in Spanish and have a strong background in physical sciences and political science. My mission is to help clients resolve construction disputes and challenges with integrity, professionalism, and quality.
