ABOUT CHANTAL SCHUMACHER

Chantal is an internationally experienced strategic leader with a broad skill set ranging from strategy and general management; over talent development, culture and change management; to finance, compliance and risk. Chantal is a Global Board Member, an Audit Committee Chair, Non-Executive Director, Coach and Advisor, with over 25 years of experience in the global financial services industry (covering banking, investment management, trade finance, insurance and reinsurance, as well as credit ratings). She also recently has gained industry expertise in real estate. Before her portfolio career, Chantal worked as CFO at several global Allianz subsidiaries, where she built up a proven track record in large-scale, cross-cultural, inter-continental transformations that bring people together, set up state-of-the-art processes and systems, and deliver measurable gains. She brings strong finance, risk oversight and governance experience. Chantal is passionate to bring structure into chaos, and thereby positions organizations for scale and profitable growth. An INSEAD certified coach with strong commitment to talent development, she is highly experienced in leading globally spread teams and in developing talent pools for international organizations. Having lived, studied and worked in Luxembourg, Belgium, France, Germany, the US, Canada and UK, Chantal is a true global citizen with a Luxembourg passport. She is multi-lingual and speaks 4 languages fluently. For over 15 years she has led and managed large international teams (of up to 800 people) spread globally.
