I embarked on my college journey with dreams of becoming a doctor, but after two years as a biology major, I took a step back to reassess my true passions. I realized that sports brought joy to my life daily, which prompted a pivot to communications. Despite attending a university without a formal sports journalism program, I carved out a niche for myself in sports reporting and sideline reporting, ultimately becoming the first ESPN+ sideline reporter for the University of Vermont.After college, I moved solo to Tampa, Florida, to pursue an opportunity that has profoundly shaped my professional journey. I joined Amphenol Communications Solutions as an intern, where I spent two years honing my skills before transitioning to a full-time role at Amphenol Custom Cable. As the sole marketing professional in the business unit, I thrive on the creativity, strategic planning, and organizational challenges of my role. Witnessing and contributing to our exponential growth from the ground up has been incredibly rewarding.While I deeply value my current role and the experiences it offers, my passion for sports reporting remains undiminished. I continue to keep an eye out for the perfect on-air position in sports reporting, a dream opportunity that I may find irresistible.
