ParaCheer International CIO is a registered charity promoting and supporting cheerleading for those with physical and sensory disabilities. ParaCheer International is working with the International Cheerleading Union (ICU) to develop ParaCheer as a new division within the sport of Cheerleading and is the recognised representative body for ParaCheer throughout the world.​The ICU has officially approved ParaCheer divisions in Cheer and Freestyle Pom and has been running divisions for these since 2017. ParaCheer will be continuing to develop the division into Allstar cheerleading, internationally, as well as contributing to discussions with the Para-olympic committee with regards to recognising ParaCheer as an Olympic sport.
