   The Center for Black Health & Equity (formerly NAATPN, Inc.) • Supports the development and the strategic direction of the organization which includes oversight of all of the organization\'s programs. • Oversee the daily operations and administration for the organization.• Work with other members of the leadership team in the organization to actualize the vision, goals, and growth of the organization. • Prepares execution of grant proposals that have resulted in funding for tobacco, cancer and HIV/AIDS programs and identify grant opportunities for The Center and partner organizations to assist with sustainability efforts. • Cultivates key community partnerships with the State of Black Health Biennial Conference including program and sponsorship outreach. • Provides strategic guidance on how to form meaningful and sustainable community engagement efforts that result in policy change. • Manages the program budgets and assists the Finance Director with managing funds in accordance with funding priorities and assigned efforts. • Recruits strategic partnerships among national, state and local agencies, health care providers, higher learning institutions, community and faith-based organizations to facilitate HIV/AIDS, tobacco, cancer and health equity awareness events. • Perform employee performance reviews and develop corrective action plans if needed. • Organizes trainings and presentations on best and promising practices to ensure compliance with relevant policies, regulations, law, system and environmental changes• Interacts and maintains the flow of communication between network members including grantees, state programs, legislators, faculty and community-based agencies.
