Having recently graduated from The University of Toledo, I cannot help but reflect on the long and rewarding journey to my bachelor’s degree. Upon reflection, I immediately think back to the previous job that I held for several years as a retail manager at a Family Video. Less than a year on the job, I had advanced as high as I could, and I felt complacent and needed a change. By some divine intervention, while training a new hire, they paused me in the middle of a role-playing session to personally thank me for my unique, hands-on training method and utilization of reenacting real-life scenarios while explaining policies. She remarked my communication helped her understand and retain the information better, as opposed to just reading from an employee handbook. Hearing that kind of feedback flipped a switch in my mind; that I have a knack for not only training but engaging and educating colleagues to become effective, productive, and informed employees. It was at that moment that I decided to re-enroll in school and work toward a career in HR.Hi! My name is Channele Wysocki and I am looking to use my management experience and skillset in the field of human resources. Over the years, I\'ve become well-versed in coaching employees and I\'ve been recognized for leading by example and specialize in upholding and promoting my employer’s philosophy and goals by building meaningful relationships with employees and customers.
