Develop project work breakdown structures, establish control budget from cost estimates- Responsible for cost accrual/reporting, cost forecasting and controlling project budgets- Establish and maintain change control process. Include the maintenance and development of cost trends, issuing change orders and back charges- Change Management/Cost Forecasting – Support the Change Management process to ensure accurate cost projection for each project- Maintain detailed home office / field manpower and expenses, monitor all phases of home office / field cost activities and month end reconciliations- Responsible for generating cost reports, tracking progress & performance for home office engineering & field construction activities using Access database- Establish project reporting and status for internal project management and client- Tracking and trending project status; perform variance analysis and earned value analysis- Monitor process to ensure timely issuance and payment of invoices- Keep Project Manager informed of related project financial status and identify potential problems as well as improvements- Provide project cost control for home office engineering, maintain cost system, produce monthly cost and progress reports for management in a timely manner- Coordinate the flow of cost data, material commitments and expenditures from home office and field sites into cost system effectively- Prepare closing analysis of the project costs at end of project- Review and monitor weekly labor reports, prepare weekly manpower status reports, develop and maintain all discipline staffing plans- Perform daily job walk at the job site to monitor construction progress and to interact with various direct field contractors.
