ABOUT CHANGHAI ZHU
After completing my Master of Science degree at Queen’s University in the field of Fisheries Biology, I worked for two years at the Ontario Ministry of Natural Resources and Forestry as a research biologist and policy analyst. Following that experience, I decided to switch careers in an attempt to explore my passion in oral advocacy. In 2017 I began my legal education at Osgoode Hall Law School.Between May 2018 and April 2020, I was a Criminal Law Division Leader at the Community & Legal Aid Services Programme. While in this position, I assisted low income individuals with the minor criminal charges that they faced in the City of Toronto. I completed my articles with Dentons Canada LLP, and am currently an associate in the firm’s Litigation and Dispute Resolution practice group.
