I am passionate about increasing patient access to high-quality healthcare using a data driven decision making model, and I believe in building relationships and earning trust via transparency, communication, and teamwork. I started my career in client analytics and operations at Health Dialog, where I saw firsthand the power of data in improving outcomes and reducing unwarranted variation in healthcare, and I have dedicated my career to improving patient outcomes and experience, increasing team satisfaction, and maximizing operational efficiencies. I am excited to learn about the opportunities within veterinary medicine to improve access, quality outcomes, and overall associate health and wellbeing, and to support the Mars Petcare mission of creating A Better World for Pets.Founded in 1996, BluePearl Pet Hospital is one of the largest specialty and emergency veterinary practices in the U.S. with Associates, including 1,330+ veterinarians, 1,600+ veterinary technicians, and 4,100+ other professionals. Each year, our compassionate teams provide high-quality care for more than 1.1 million pets and their families. As the COO, I lead the field operations teams at our hospitals, the construction and real estate team, the business development and integrations team, and the project management team, and as a part of the Senior Leadership Team, I am charged with helping to create and drive strategic initiatives for the entire organization.I’m a first-generation Chinese immigrant, a proud husband and father of two inquisitive kids, and I earned an MBA from the University of Florida Warrington School of Business and an AB in Biological Sciences from Harvard University.
