ABOUT CHANELL WOODS

I am passionate about advancing equity, innovation, and opportunity across K–12 education. As a first-generation college graduate, I firmly believe in the power of education to transform lives and communities. With more than a decade of experience in education, edtech, and strategic partnerships, I have worked with school systems across the country to support technology adoption, professional learning, and long-term district success. My career has included leadership roles at Adobe and Khan Academy, where I partnered closely with district leaders, led teams, facilitated more than hours of professional learning, and helped shape product and partnership strategies that better serve educators and students. I have also built partnerships with organizations such as AWS, Apple, Google, and Microsoft to help districts scale innovation, creativity, and more personalized learning experiences. In addition, I am helping expand the education and community partnership work at Beacon Health, focused on increasing access to behavioral health support for students, families, and schools. Across all of my work, I am committed to building stronger systems at the intersection of education, wellness, and community impact. Outside of work, I enjoy traveling and spending time with my husband and three children.
