As a founding member and Slack Admin of the ALStogether community, I’m proud to be part of an initiative that connects people living with ALS, their caregivers, and supporters. From day one, our goal has been to create a safe, inclusive space for sharing experiences, offering support, and fostering meaningful conversations around living with ALS.I’ve been deeply involved in driving strategy and bringing together a dedicated team of volunteers to build, sustain and engage with this thriving community. My focus has been on deepening engagement, connecting resources/information, fostering inclusivity, and partnering on initiatives to guide this community into its next phase of growth. Alongside this, I’ve been hands-on in creating workflows/processes that streamline communication around feedback, and ensure efficient access to key resources. This lays the foundation for a sustainable and scalable community structure, allowing us to grow while maintaining a welcoming environment.I\'m excited to continue advancing the ALStogether’s mission. As our fearless leader often quotes, “The best is yet to come,” and I’m fully committed to the journey of driving this work forward, ensuring greater access, support, and care for all involved.
