In my current role as Primary Care Delivery Manager I work closely with the wider local and NW London primary care teams to support the Delivery of Primary Care Networks in Hounslow in line with the strategic direction set out by the Five Year Forward View and the NW London and local priorities and objectives.In response to the Coronavirus pandemic I have project managed the vaccination programme in the Hounslow Borough for all residents. We have successfully setup 5 Primary Care Network sites, 1 Mass vaccination site and countless pop-up clinics in specific areas to meet population need and reduce health inequalities. Further responsibilities included: • Scoping sites, health facilities and locations for vaccination centres to run temporarily, short term or long term in the national response. • Undertaking relevant assurance procedures for site sign off and start date • Liaise with North West London Medicine management colleagues to obtain Standard Operating Procedure (SOP) for the delivery of vaccines. • Order and review stock of vaccine and consumables for sites • Liaise with landlords of sites, security and staff undertaking vaccinations • Work with Hounslow Borough colleagues and Public Health to support the project and mobilise staff and resources to meet demand • Feedback and update all stakeholders of vaccination sites and number of vaccines administered through various methods; email, presentation, verbal etc.
