Chandigarh Distillers & Bottlers Group (CDB Group), established in 1986, is a leading force in India’s biofuel, spirits, and beverage industry. Beginning its journey in 1991 with a distillery in Banur, Punjab, the Group has grown exponentially over the years, expanding its footprint across multiple states through innovation, operational excellence, and visionary leadership.
Today, CDB Group stands as India’s largest manufacturer of ethanol and Extra Neutral Alcohol (ENA). We operate six state-of-the-art distilleries across Punjab, Haryana, Bihar, and West Bengal, with a combined production capacity of 28 lakh litres per day. Our expansion continues with greenfield projects underway in Rajasthan and Andhra Pradesh, reinforcing our position as a pan-India ethanol powerhouse.
In the alcoholic beverage segment, we own and market country liquor and IMFL brands in Punjab and Haryana, where we bottle 10 lakh cases monthly, commanding a 45% market share in Punjab and an 18% market share in Haryana. Our long-standing partnership with Diageo, a global leader in premium spirits, spans over three decades. As one of their key bottling partners in India, we bottle approximately 6 lakh cases each month through our specialized high-tech facilities in Punjab and Haryana, dedicated exclusively to Diageo's IMFL portfolio.
Beyond spirits and biofuels, CDB Group also contributes to the animal nutrition industry by producing 2,000 metric tons of DDGS (Distillers Dried Grains with Solubles) monthly—a high-protein by-product used as a cattle feed supplement.
Our presence in the Renewable Energy Sector, aligns with our commitment to sustainability, circular economy practices, and long-term environmental stewardship. We have 6 hydro power plants with a combined capacity of 27 MW per hour.
