ABOUT CHANDRASEKHAR MUKHERJEE

HR Leader with global exposure and 30+ years of well-rounded, rich & diverse experience. He has been designated as the Key Management Personnel since April 2010, as the Chief People Officer of National Stock Exchange of India (NSE), the 3rd largest exchange in the world and till date. Chandrasekhar has the unique exposure of working in both Greenfield and Brownfield projects and assignments, including working in different work environments and cultures, like MNCs, Indian Companies (both professionally board and promoter driven) Public Sector, Government of India and NGO. He is known to facilitate organizations to conceptualize / implement HR and Employee Relations best practices, including spearheading implementation of eHR in his last six companies and Merger & Acquisition.He is currently working with Bhilosa Industries, as Senior President & CHRO, a textile company with an annual turnover of Rs. 8500 Cr, 35 factories and an employee strength of and mentoring start-ups. Prior to this Alumini of South Indian Bank, SREI Infrastructure Finance Limited & Group companies, National Stock Exchange of India & its Group Companies, Times of India Group, Cabot India Ltd, Colgate-Palmolive, Group Usha, Modern Group, Coal India Ltd, Department of Customs & Central Excise and Magic Bus Foundation (NGO).Council Member of GLG, USA (Gerson Lehrman Group), world’s leading knowledge market place, World Assessment Council, Boston, USA.Known as ‘Chandra’, among his sports fraternity, he is a sports enthusiast and former national ranked table tennis player.
