I am a Biotechnology postgraduate with over 5 years of combined academic and industrial experience in protein engineering, synthetic biology, and microbial strain development. Currently, I serve as a Senior Research Associate at Laurus Bio Pvt. Ltd.(formerly Richcore Lifesciences), Bangalore, where I specialize in molecular cloning, strain engineering, and clone characterization for recombinant protein production in E. coli and Pichia pastoris.My work spans the complete pipeline of recombinant protein expression—from vector construction and cloning to expression screening, media optimization, and clone selection. I have hands-on expertise in molecular biology techniques such as restriction digestion, PCR, cDNA synthesis, plasmid linearization, gel purification, transformation, SDS-PAGE, and Western blotting. I also support downstream processes, including the development of Research and Master Cell Banks (RCB/MCB), and ensure strain stability and purity using viability assays, plaque testing, and differential staining.Previously, I have contributed to the development of PCR-based diagnostics and engineered microbial strains for expressing growth factors used in cultivated meat applications.
