About Chandrasekar Gopalakrishnan
I am an epidemiologist and physician by training with over 10 years of research experience working on studies evaluating the utilization, safety, and effectiveness of medications across a range of therapeutic areas. I have worked with a variety of real-world data sources including open/closed claims datasets, EHR data and prospective registries with primary data collection. I have 25 manuscripts published in high impact journals such as JAMA, JAMA IM, Diabetes Care, and the BMJ. Working on these studies gave me opportunities to collaborate with colleagues in academia, the pharmaceutical industry, the FDA and health insurance companies. My extensive applied research experience and doctoral training in epidemiology have helped me develop expertise in advanced causal inference methods and predictive modeling. I\'m extremely passionate about mentoring junior scientists and promoting excellence through teaching and scholarship.
