In my role at Network Rail, a crucial player in managing the British railway infrastructure, I significantly contributed to the Insight workstream under the Intelligent Infrastructure program, focusing on features related to track and signaling.Trace Review Enhancement- Conceptualized and implemented an online trace review feature, replacing the traditional paper-based approach- Users can now digitally analyze trace segments of any track section, loaded into the insight system via CDMS- Introduced a system for users to comment on specific mileage sections, drastically improving productivity.Ellipse Integration- Spearheaded efforts to synchronize Ellipse (NR work management tool) with the Insight application- Enabled users to seamlessly manage work orders and defects directly from the Insight platform while preserving existing processes.Track Quality Improvement- Developed a data-driven approach to defect review, predicting potential faults through thorough data analysis- Implemented preventive actions, including targeted interventions and remediations, to enhance overall track quality.Enhanced Track Review Functionality- Facilitated users in building query structures to retrieve specific details of traces- Empowered users to view associated data channels for any trace, streamlining the track review process.In addition to these achievements, I am currently engaged in developing an Information Decision Support tool.
