Seasoned business leader with 30+ years of experience across energy industry, business models and markets. In his current role, Chandra has dual responsibility of being Vice President for Global Data Centers Business, Oil and Gas for Aditya Birla Group. As VP, he is responsible for managing P&L of $0.5 billion, 8 Production Plants, 1500+ FTE in his role across 25 countries including US & Americas, EU, UK and APAC regions.Chandra worked across Upstream, LNG and Low Carbon solutions verticals in ExxonMobil, Qatar Energy LNG, Shell, Aramco and Reliance Industries. Chandra is actively creating pathways to decarbonize energy industry and has a track record of building profitable low energy intensity projects, growing market share, and nurturing talent. His previous roles include General Manager at ExxonMobil, Global Production Manager for LNG and CCS at Qatar Energy, Production Advisor at Shell, and various roles in Engineering, Production, Strategy, and Operations at Aramco and Reliance Industries. He has lived in India, Singapore, Doha, Houston and London.In his current role as the VP of Data centers, Oil and Gas vertical at Adita Birla Group, Chandra is working in business development of Data center cooling fluids and low carbon energy supply through an integrated approach of Oil and Gas production, refining and product delivery with an aim of scaling the vertical to >2 Billion USD by 2035.At ExxonMobil and Qatar Energy, Chandra led the LNG and energy transition business where he builds on his expertise in the energy sector, bringing customers with the greatest decarbonization challenges together with solutions and products (like LNG, RNG, biofuels, CCS and hydrogen) that can help reduce and manage the carbon emissions of the energy they use.Chandra has a Masters in Mechanical Engineering from Indian Institute of Technology Madras and an MBA in Marketing.
