Responsible for 5G /LTE features validation, system and performance analysis. • Attending customer review session for Ericsson 4G/5G RAN products focusing on Air Interface, E2E performance & Call processing. • Analyzing feature requirements, converting them into system test cases and executing them to ensure product and software meets customer specifications. • Performing detailed analysis and validation of 4G/5G RAN protocol procedures. • Analyzing and troubleshooting 5G system/protocol and RF issues. • Working closely with cross-functional teams within Ericsson to achieve new product software validation. • Validating functionality & performance of 5G/LTE features and solutions such as DL/UL scheduling, Power control, Beamforming functionalities, CAIMC, PDCP aggregation, SU-MIMO, MU-MIMO, Carrier Aggregation, Load balancing, Throughput & protocol stack analysis. • Performance evaluation of 5G virtual RAN call flows across X2, F1 & E1 interfaces such as ENDC X2 setup, Mobility Management for ENDC, F1 setup. • Worked on validation and introduction of new LTE/5G RAN features into T-Mobile network. • Developed & maintained MOPs for new procedures and upgrades • Perform Root Cause Analysis (RCA) for issues and failures encountered during validation phase. • Participate in technical reviews for the latest LTE/5G RAN SW features and provide on-site support to customers, and cross functional organizations. • Developed scripts to analyze call flows between the protocol stacks. • LTE Device Automation – Automated repeatedly used ADB/modem commands on the LTE device under test. • Device performance Analysis – Developed scripts to extract PHY statistics from QXDM/QCAT/X-Cal logs to simply LTE/5G-PHY layer analysis eliminating the need for manual debugging of LTE/5G related performance issues.
