Investigating biomarker signatures for lung cancer and mesothelioma both in tissue and in the blood for discovery and validation. • Lead key-clinical translational research initiative exploring the gene expression mRNA, miRNA immune-oncology profiles of circulating blood components for the early detection and diagnosis of Lung cancers and mesothelioma. • Work closely with clinical study team and implementing clinical biomarker into clinical trials and providing translational medicine solution to project needs.• Managing the team of biomarker scientist and working closely with trial operation in setting up logistics, tracking samples, performing data analysis, and data transfer for statistical analysis.• Developed and optimized immunoassays and cell-based assays for the validation of biomarkers.• Leading and managing cross-functional teams on multiple projects across the world both at the capacities of industries and collaborating CRO’s. • Actively participating in large multi-site program projects that integrates computer and experimental biologists at centers across the United States, with a direct role in biomarker discovery and validation.• Hands-on experience on various immunotherapy assays and high throughput platforms such as Affymetrix, Nanostring assays, MAGPIX Luminex assays, SOMAmer assays, Next Generation Sequencing and Immuno assays.• Developed and optimized multiplex SOMAmer assay for the validation of diagnostic and prognostic cancer biomarkers in association with SOMAlogic Inc. and • Designed & developed in-house ELISA’s for specific biomarker validations.• Designed peptides and developed in vitro assays for inhibitory studies.• Actively coordinating with other clinical research laboratories for the specimen collection, banking and the distribution for pre-clinical research use.• Data analysis, report writing, publishing in peer-reviewed journals and presenting the data at National and Inter-national meetings.
