About Chandler Dailey
I am an Honors College student at the University of South Carolina pursuing a double major in Political Science and International Studies, with minors in Business Administration and Law & Society. I am also completing certificates in Data Analytics & Visualization and Strategic Thinking & Communication, and I plan to attend law school following my graduation in May 2028.My academic and professional experiences are centered on understanding how institutions function and how leadership, policy, and systems can be leveraged to create meaningful and equitable outcomes.I currently serve as a Legislative Page for South Carolina Senator Danny Verdin, where I support Senate sessions, committee operations, and legislative tracking while gaining first hand exposure to the policymaking process. Additionally, I work as a Recreation Services Leader, overseeing operations for facilities serving thousands of patrons daily, where I manage teams, navigate conflict, and ensure accountability in high-responsibility environments.Across campus, I hold several leadership roles that reflect my commitment to service and institutional impact. As Vice President of Community Affairs for the National Residence Hall Honorary and a District Liaison within the Residence Hall Association, I represent and advocate for over students while contributing to policy, programming, and organizational governance. As Volunteer Coordinator for the Gamecock CommUnity Shop, I manage over 400 volunteers and support large-scale initiatives addressing student food insecurity.I am particularly interested in the intersection of law and food insecurity, and in how ethical leadership and policy can expand access to essential resources. I am driven by a commitment to service and aspire to use legal training to address systemic inequities and create sustainable, community-centered solutions.
