Perform daily rounds and inspections of critical infrastructure systems (electrical, mechanical, HVAC) to ensure optimal performance and uptime. • Monitor and respond to data center alarms and incidents using AWS monitoring tools while maintaining strict compliance with SLA and operational protocols. • Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain generators, UPS systems, PDUs, CRAC units, and fire suppression systems to support 24/7 operations. • Develop, write, and update Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), Methods of Procedure (MOPs), and Maintenance Operation Templates (MOTs) to align with AWS standards and ensure consistency across operations. • Author and revise internal policies and technical documentation to improve operational efficiency, safety, and training effectiveness. • Coordinate with vendors and contractors for maintenance, testing, and repair of data center infrastructure, ensuring adherence to safety and compliance standards. • Conduct root cause analysis (RCA) on infrastructure failures and lead implementation of corrective and preventive measures. • Support physical infrastructure tasks including rack installation, power provisioning, and structured cabling. • Maintain accurate logs and documentation for all incidents, maintenance, and operational procedures in alignment with AWS audit and compliance standards. • Enforce AWS safety protocols and actively participate in safety drills, audits, and continuous improvement initiatives. • Collaborate cross-functionally with Networking, Security, and IT teams to ensure the secure and efficient operation of the facility. • Mentor junior technicians and contribute to the training and onboarding process through technical guidance and documentation.
