About Chandan Misra

As a PGT Physics and Discipline head at Seth M.R. Jaipuria School, I apply my analytical skills and strategy to plan and execute the curriculum, assessment, and discipline policies for the school. I also lead and mentor a team of physics teachers and staff, ensuring their professional development and performance. I have over three years of experience as a PGT Physics at St. Francis Mission School, where I teach physics to students from grades 9 to 12, using innovative and engaging methods to foster their interest and understanding of the subject. I also participate in various co-curricular and extracurricular activities, such as science fairs, competitions, and clubs. My mission is to inspire and educate the next generation of physicists and scientists, and to contribute to the advancement of physics and science education in India. I hold an M.Sc in Physics from Dr. Ram Manohar Lohiya College, and a B.Ed from Indira Gandhi National Open University. I also have an MBA in Finance and Marketing from ICFAI Business School, which helps me to manage and market the physics department and the school effectively. In addition to my teaching and leadership roles, I am also passionate about making a positive social impact and helping the underprivileged and marginalized communities. I oversee and coordinate the campaigns, events, and partnerships of the foundation, and mobilize volunteers and donors to support our cause.
