Work with sales & commercial finance team in implementing pricing strategies. Serve as the single point of responsibility & the global liaison with production plants, supply chain, sales, finance, and regulatory affairs. Work pro-actively with the R&D or Technical Manager, regarding Excipients and or troubleshooting, as well as areas for product improvement. Liaison with the commercial sales team acting as a subject matter expert (SME) and assisting in the field with customer visits, tradeshow events, customer business reviews etc. Interact directly with the sales team on an on-going basis to address technical, commercial queries, and ensuring that the new opportunity pipeline is robust. Recommend the attributes and scope of present and future product lines by reviewing product specifications against customer requirements; appraising new product ideas and/or product or packaging changes, as they pertain to Excipients. Perform market research; define market trends, investigate customer needs, customer requirement and product specifications as appropriate. Work across functions to develop business opportunities for revenue growth through internal contacts and development of external company contacts such third-party manufacturing. Coordinate marketing communications activities and plans with the sales team and other global stakeholders to ensure consistency and effectiveness. Lead the implementation of new technologies and advanced methodologies to ensure our products remain of high quality and competitively positioned in the market. Own the launch process of new products from creating new SKU’s to launching the products. Responsible for both the internal and external growth strategies for the products.
