As an experienced professional with over 15 years in the fields of Industrial Procurement, Store & Inventory Management, and Supply Chain Management, I have developed an expertise in infrastructure items like Steel, Cement, Fly ash, GGBS, and Fiber. Throughout my career, I have been responsible for handling the raw material requirements of various manufacturing units, processing supplier bills, and managing the supply chain to ensure material availability for production. Currently, I am working as a Sr. Purchase Officer at Sri Sri University, where I lead a team of officers and executives to ensure timely and cost-effective procurement of all construction materials related to Electrical, Maintenance, and Civil work. I am dedicated to achieving desired growth in cost reduction while maintaining the highest quality standards by selecting good vendors and materials, and verifying specifications of materials indented from sites for better understanding of the product. Prior to this, I worked as a Store Head at Visaka Industries Ltd. where I was responsible for overall material management, implementing best practices in purchase functions, and preparing comparative statements and approval notes for placement before the competent authority. At SKS Power Generation Chhattisgarh Limited (SPGCL), I served as an Asst. Manager Purchase and was responsible for analyzing and evaluating indents, sending enquiries, receiving quotations, conducting negotiations, and finalizing vendors/contractors, as well as developing new supply sources and discount rates. At Bihar Sponge Iron Ltd.(BSIL), I served as a Purchase Officer, processing requisitions into purchase orders, negotiating with vendors and suppliers, monitoring and expediting orders, and developing ongoing and new supply chain relationships. I am adept at resolving supply, quality, service, and invoicing issues while maintaining good relationships with vendors and ensuring that payments are released on time. I have experience in maintaining Purchase Indent, Purchase order, and purchase registers in Oracle-based ERP systems and have excellent communication, negotiation, and leadership skills. I am passionate about contributing to the growth and success of any organization I work with and am always eager to take on new challenges and learn new skills.
