   Oversees, directs, and manages the Havana Business Improvement District\'s operational plan and programs• Works closely with the Havana BID Board of Directors and City of Aurora liaisons to build a stronger and better community• Provides advocacy programming and benefits to business and commercial properties located along the Havana corridor including economic vitality/development, marketing, events, and establishing a district identity for the area• Sustains and fosters positive relationships with businesses, public officials, neighborhood leaders, the media and public• Works closely with the BID’s marketing/branding firm to develop and coordinate communications, marketing and public relations programs and implement these programs. • Spends time on “the street” each week talking with business owners, noting their concerns and keeping an open line of communication with the BID stakeholders• Manages statistics including available properties in the district, demographics, and sales tax revenue stats for the district.• Maintains the master district database and develops the annual operational plan and budget, with assistance of the board, and manages the budgets for special events, the car show, and the public art program.• Coordinates the Business Watch Program and works with the police and homeless service providers to keep the district safe and clean.• Plans and coordinates the public art, sculpture on the street program - Art 2C on Havana and the Havana MotorMile – a program created to promote our many auto dealerships, repair shops and auto parts businesses On Havana Street.
